The Crosswalk Table is designed to assist users in identifying possible new FOAPAL information based on their old (Chart D) index, fund, organization, or program. To search, type in the old (Chart D) index, fund, organization, or program number appropriately on the red section side of the page. Type in only one segment at a time when searching. Click on the option that appears, then click the search button and new (Chart F) FOAPAL string options will appear in the blue section of the page.
Account code is not included in this application. Searching by account will not list all possible account codes, resulting in potential account code errors. Users are encouraged to visit go.udayton.edu/coa for training resources on account codes, including Account Codes 101 which defines each account code and its appropriate use in financial transactions.
Mousing over a result field in the blue section will provide the name assigned to that number in the new (Chart F) chart of accounts. Please note that the Crosswalk Table may provide multiple results. Use the result that best applies to your new financial transaction, or feel free to contact the Chart of Accounts Project Team at controller@udayton.edu if you are unsure which result to use.
